Libya and Spain discussed the importance of resuming direct flights between Tripoli and Madrid.
The discussions took place yesterday during a meeting between Abubaker Ibrahim Al-Taweel, Director of the European Department at the Tripoli based Libyan Foreign Ministry, with Javier Soria, Ambassador of Spain to Libya.
The two discussed encouraging the exchange of visits of delegations for bilateral consultations between the two countries, especially delegations in the economic field, and in this regard, the ongoing preparations for holding the Spanish Libyan forum hosted by Spain in April 2025.
During the meeting they also discussed ways to develop bilateral relations in various fields and the two sides expressed their aspiration and keenness to push to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between the two friendly countries and peoples.
