The Libyan Export Promotion Centre (LEPC) reported yesterday that the first shipment of dates was exported to Spain yesterday by the Sakia El Dhahabi Company.
The company is among the companies registered in the LEPC’s Exporters’ Register which means it has met national and international specifications and is licenced to export.
The LEPC said this step reflects the success of Libyan products in competing regionally and strengthening their position in international markets.
It reflects the serious steps taken by Libyan companies in breaking into the European markets with high-quality products and reserving a position worthy of the name of Libya.
