The Libyan Export Promotion Centre announced yesterday that the Aseel Company for the Manufacture of Diapers and Tissue paper, one of the companies of the Al-Sahel Holding Group, has delivered another export order to the sub-Saharan market.
Specifically, the company delivered yesterday a consignment of Aleen diapers/nappies to Senegal.
The LEPC said this step reflects further the success of the Libyan industry in competing regionally and strengthening its position in international markets.
Aseel is among the companies registered in the LEPC’s Exporters Register.
The LEPC added that the export delivery reflects the serious steps it has been taking in supporting the export sector. It also reflects the serious steps taken by Libyan companies in breaking into the sub-Saharan and landlocked African markets with high-quality products and making a name for Libyan products abroad.
The LEPC has been supporting Libyan exports through training, lectures and domestic and overseas trade exhibitions (”Made in Libya” exhibitions) with notable export successes, including in olive oil, honey, dates, pasta, flour, fish, paints, and carpets.
