According to the Spanish Embassy in Libya, trade between Spain and Libya is experiencing strong growth, according to data for the first six months of the year.

·       Spanish exports to Libya: +114.6%

·       Libyan imports to Spain: +66.8%

Spanish exports to Libya totalled €324.5 million

Libyan imports to Spain amounted to €2,267.09 million between January and June 2026.

It will be recalled that MedSky launched a direct flight service between Tripoli and Madrid on 21 April this year.

The flight coincides with the holding of the Libyan Spanish Economic Forum in Madrid from 23 to 24 April.
