Abubaker Ibrahim Al-Taweel, Director of the European Affairs Department at the Tripoli based Libyan Foreign Ministry, received at his Tripoli office Barbara Grosse, Ambassador of Austria to Libya, in the presence of Wolfgang Samer, the new Attaché of the Austrian Ministry of Interior.
The Libyan Foreign Ministry said the meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them in all fields, and pushing relations to a distinguished level during the coming period.
This, it continued, is especially regarding the ongoing arrangements to receive a delegation from the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to visit Libya, the return of the Austrian Embassy to work from the capital, Tripoli.
The meeting also discussed work to open a direct air route between the two countries, cooperation in the field of diplomatic training, in addition to several other topics that serve the two countries.
