The Tripoli based Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed Al-Rida, met at the Ministry’s Tripoli office with the Chairman of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Mohamed Al-Raied yesterday.
The Ministry reported that the meeting discussed ways to develop the labour market. Specifically, they discussed:
- Mechanisms for regulating the labour market.
- Creating job opportunities for youth by studying the requirements of the local market.
- Facilitating procedures and overcoming difficulties that would activate the work of the Union of Chambers.
- The possibility of supporting and developing local industry to achieve economic diversification.
