Privatization and Investment Board of Libya.

London, 1 September 2021:

Libya’s Privatisation and Investment Board (PIB) revealed yesterday that following Prime Minister Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba’s visit to Jordan last week, the Economy and Trade Minister Mohamed Hwej has instructed the PIB to coordinate with the Libyan Export Promotion Centre (LEPC), and the General Authority for Exhibitions to organize an exhibition of Jordanian products, and to hold a meeting of Libyan and Jordanian business leaders in coordination with the General Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and its affiliates.

The PIB said this comes within the government’s framework to enhance cooperation between Libya and Jordan.

It also revealed that the Minister of Economy and Trade decided to form an economic delegation to follow up on the visit to Jordan and stressed the holding of the third meeting of the Libyan Jordanian Higher Committee in the coming period after it had stopped meeting since 2009.
