The head of the (Libyan) Support and Development of Medical Services Agency, Dr. Ahmed Salem, attended the signing of a bilateral cooperation agreement between Libya and Tunisia yesterday allowing for the movement of Tunisian doctors and their practice of the medical profession on Libyan soil.

The agreement also entails working to find a framework to facilitate the work of Libyan doctors in Tunisia, with the support of the Deanship of Physicians in Tunisia.

The agreement was signed by the President of the (Libyan) General Syndicate of Physicians, Mohamed Al-Ghouj and the President of the Council of the Deanship of Physicians in Tunisia, Rida Al-Dhawi, in the presence of the Libyan Ambassador to Tunisia, representatives of the Libyan Ministry of Health and members of the Deanship of Physicians in Tunisia.

It was also agreed to form a joint committee between the health office of Support and Development of Medical Services Agency in the Libyan embassy in Tunisia and the Deanship of Tunisian Doctors, to provide the best treatment services for Libyan patients in Tunisia, and to receive complaints from patients.
