A team of visiting eye specialists from Ukraine, in cooperation with the Health Office in Ukraine, will arrive in Tripoli on 22 May, the (Libyan) Support and Development of Medical Services Agency reported last Friday.
The visiting team specializes in the treatment of Keratoconus, Low Vision, and Laziness of the Eye in Children, and Varicose and Surgical Retinopathy. They will conduct examinations and operations for patients registered with the Agency, in Tripoli’s Eye Hospital.
The visiting medical team will also train several Libyan medical cadres in the framework of localizing treatment inside Libya, on the side lines of the International Conference for Localising Treatment, which is organized by the Agency under the slogan ” Returning life by localizing treatment”, with the support of the Government of National Unity, and the sponsorship of the Telecommunications Holding Company.
