The 18th edition of the Libya International Healthcare Forum and Exhibition (LHE 2026) kicked off at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds on 13 September. This year, the event is held under the theme "Healthcare for the Day After Tomorrow."
The opening ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials, including Mohamed Ben Ghalboun, Minister of State for the Affairs of the Head of Government and the Council of Ministers; Mohamed Al-Ghouj, Minister of Health. Also present were numerous officials, ambassadors, members of the diplomatic corps, and a distinguished group of physicians, experts, and stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
This edition features broad participation from public and private healthcare companies and institutions, alongside significant international participation from entities representing Turkey, Italy, Tunisia, India, and Jordan. The participants are showcasing the latest global medical technologies and solutions.
The forum, which runs for four consecutive days (September 14–17), includes a comprehensive scientific programme featuring specialized lectures, workshops, and panel discussions.
These activities aim to strengthen public-private partnerships and support the localisation of medical treatment and digital transformation within the Libyan healthcare system.
