The Tripoli Chamber of Commerce held a meeting on supporting business startups as part of its EU cooperation programme (Logo: TCCI).

London, 22 October 2019:

Tripoli’s Chamber of Commerce held a meeting on Thursday with a number of business leaders to discuss the support tools it must provide for the success of projects of new business startups. This comes as part of the EU Support Committee’s entrepreneurship programme with Libya’s Chambers of Commerce. The businesses invited were targets of the entrepreneurship programme.

The meeting was held, the Tripoli Chamber reported, in order to reach the most effective ways and support tools for the success of new projects initiated by new entrants to the workplace within the framework of entrepreneurship.

The language mechanism to be adopted to explain the ideas, tools and steps necessary for the success of the projects of the new business entrants were discussed. Meetings will continue during the week to develop ideas and achieve results according to the scheduled programme.

Tripoli Chamber of Commerce said that it has adopted these efforts out of its belief in its motivational role for the private sector, working in cooperation with the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Tripoli University to make this effort a success and turn it into a reality.

It is noteworthy that Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, a number of universities within the municipalities of Sebha, and Benghazi, in addition to the university of Zintan, had signed an agreement in Tunisia a few months ago with the European Union to support the Libya’s Chambers of Commerce Chambers in this startup programme.
