The Spanish Embassy in Tripoli reported last Wednesday (15 October) that more than 65 Spanish companies interested in doing business with Libya participated in an event the previous day in Madrid.
The business event, held under the banner ‘‘Libya: A strategic Market with Great Opportunities for Spanish Companies’’, was organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid with Ares Bank, Casa Arabe and Repsol.
The Ambassador of Spain in Libya, Javier Soria, and the Head of the Economic and Commercial office, Sonsoles Valle, underlined key issues in trade and offered a strategic analysis on sectors where synergies between Libyan and Spanish companies can be positive for both sides.
Spanish companies present in Libya also shared their positive experiences and Ares Bank provided information on trade and financial instruments available to Spanish companies.
