Libya’s Customs Authority announced that had attended the North Africa Border Management Security Academy workshop in Texas from 14 to 25 October.

The workshop was organised by the US Department of State’s Export Control and Border Security (EXBS) programme and included participating delegations from Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco.

The Customs Authority reported that the workshop combined theoretical study with field visits to border crossings and migrant shelters, enabling participants to learn about the working mechanisms in these areas.
