Updating Libya Herald on the latest news of the 9th Libya Construction Exhibition 2026, CEO of organisers ADD Events, Ghaleb Gheblawi, said ‘‘We expect around 150 participating companies, including approximately 80 Libyan companies and more than 70 international exhibitors’’.

The event is taking place at Tripoli International Fair from 8–11 November 2026, with the Organisation for the Development of Administrative Centres (ODAC) as the official sponsor.

ODAC is a multi-billion state-owned public contracting agency managing or maintaining massive public works projects and large-scale national infrastructure, including public housing, schools, hospitals, civic construction projects, and administrative buildings across all of Libya.

Continuing, Gheblawi revealed that ‘‘Nine countries will be represented: Libya, Italy, Türkiye, Tunisia, Egypt, India, China, the UAE and South Korea. The main international delegations include 20 companies each from Italy, Türkiye and Egypt, and 16 from Tunisia’’, Gheblawi added.

“This year, we expect strong engagement between international suppliers, Libyan developers, contractors and public institutions. Participating bodies include the Ministry of Water Resources and its affiliated entities, the Savings and Real Estate Investment Bank, and the Tripoli City Development Authority, creating opportunities for direct discussions around Libya’s construction and infrastructure projects. A key highlight will be the co-located Architecture and Design Forum, featuring panel discussions and keynote speakers from Italy, Malta and Egypt’’, the ADD CEO further revealed.

“Another new feature is Schools of the Future, an exhibition and conference initiative supported by ODAC, focusing on the design, construction and equipping of modern schools. It brings together solutions covering sustainable school buildings, classroom furniture, laboratories, smart learning technologies, safety systems and energy efficiency. Its aim is to connect public authorities with specialist companies to help create safer, better equipped and more inspiring learning environments across Libya.”, Gheblawi concluded.
