Misrata Chamber of Commerce reported today that its Deputy Chairman, Abdulmajid Al-Tahir Balaou, received a delegation from the Indian company EVERETT at the Chamber’s administrative headquarters.

EVERETT is a member of the Chamber and holds a contract with the Libyan Iron and Steel Company (LISCO).

The meeting was attended by Chamber Management Committee members and the Director of the External Relations and International Cooperation Office.

Discussions focused on avenues for cooperation between the two parties and a review of the services and facilities the Chamber offers to its member companies—particularly regarding the facilitation of residency procedures for the company’s employees through the Chamber’s passport office.

The parties also discussed prospects for boosting trade between Libya and India through shipping agencies affiliated with the Chamber.
