A high-level Libyan delegation was received by Morocco’s Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development last Tuesday (9 June).

The visit comes within the context of strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise between the Kingdom of Morocco and the State of Libya in the fields of sustainable energy and energy transition.

The Libyan delegation included the Chairman of the Renewable Energy Authority of Libya (REAoL), Abdel Salam Al-Ansari, members of the Board of Directors, department and office directors of REAoL, and the Director General of the Renewable Energy Holding Company, along with officials from the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL), an official from the Libyan Embassy in Morocco, the Libyan Audit Bureau, and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Libya.
