Syria’s General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport revealed last Wednesday (9 September) that it had received a delegation from the state Libyan Airlines.

Discussions focused on ways to enhance cooperation and coordination in the air transport sector and addressed matters related to the air transport agreement signed between the two countries.

The meeting also addressed Libyan Airlines' interest in resuming flights to Syria and reviewed the necessary operational requirements and procedures, aiming to facilitate the resumption of air traffic and strengthen air connectivity between the two nations.
