The National Development Agency signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the French company Bureau Veritas.
The signing took place on the sidelines of the Libyan-French Economic Summit for Investment and Development held in Sirte yesterday.
The NDA said the MoU marks a step toward enhancing cooperation in quality assurance and control, inspection, technical verification, and the application of international standards across its projects.
The MoU, the NDA added, aims to leverage Bureau Veritas’s international expertise in testing, inspection, and certification services, while supporting the NDA in elevating quality, safety, and compliance standards for its strategic development projects.
The NDA said this agreement represents a tangible outcome of the Libyan-French Economic Summit and aligns with the NDA’s strategy to expand partnerships with specialized international institutions, drawing on French expertise to refine technical oversight mechanisms and ensure high-quality project execution.
