The patrols of the Tobruk Administration Branch of the General Directorate of Coastal Security of the Eastern-based General Command reported yesterday that it had rescued two rubber boats in separate operations carrying 72 migrants of Sudanese nationality and Bangladesh, north of the city of Tobruk.

‎Humanitarian aid was provided to them, and they were directed to the Tobruk landing point to take the necessary measures.

It also reported yesterday that, acting on information received by the General Administration for Coastal Security’s main operations room today, patrols successfully raided a warehouse used to store equipment and shelter illegal migrants.

The operation resulted in the seizure and destruction of the equipment and inflatable boats found inside the den, located in the Qabis area east of Tobruk.
