The Ministry of Industry and Minerals’ Green Industrial Transformation Committee conducted field visits last Tuesday, (8 September) to several aggregate crushing plants involved in the production of construction materials.
These visits were part of the committee's field programme to monitor the status of these facilities and assess their operations and operational needs. It is also part of a wider programme by the Ministry to visit and access all major industrial activity.
The visits included Ras Al-Laf'a crushing plants in Al-Aziziya, and Al-Rabita crushing plants in Wadi Al-Hay, Gharyan (producing construction aggregates/gravel).
During the visits, the committee reviewed the nature of operations, operational mechanisms, and production capacities, while also identifying operational needs and requirements relevant to the committee's mandate.
These visits are part of the committee's field programme, which aims to support the continuity of industrial activity, enhance operational efficiency, and foster the regulation and development of industries linked to the construction materials sector, thereby supporting local products and boosting the competitiveness of national industry.
