Digital Lab team meets in Tripoli to follow up on progress

EU-funded E-NABLE project launched to support Libyan economy and digital governance

Expertise France reported Thursday that the Digital Lab team held a meeting Thursday in Tripoli to follow up on progress.

It reported that the team met to complete the analysis and inventory of innovations and technical solutions in Libya. It also explored further modern digital technologies and information systems that can be employed to contribute to the development of various sectors in the country.

The Digital Lab team consists of representatives from many vital government institutions in Libya that directly relate to digitization, technology, and innovation. It was established as an initiative supervised by the General Information Authority and supported technically by international experts through the E-NABLE project funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France.

The Digital Lab aims to keep pace with the digital transformation and coordinate with all state institutions and actors in the field of technology to employ modern innovations to support digital transformation in various sectors of the state and to develop the digital infrastructure and databases in Libya.
