Libya’s Emergency Medicine and Support Centre (EMSC) announced Saturday that a Spanish medical team consisting of consultant doctors in the specialties of general surgery, orthopaedics, plastic and reconstructive surgery had arrived in Tripoli to contribute to the treatment of the wounded in the recent security forces clashes.
The EMSC said their arrival comes within its efforts and because of the Tripoli security clashes during the past days, which caused several injuries, and in response to direct instructions from the Prime Minister and the First Deputy Prime Minister / Acting Minister of Health in charge of providing medical care to the wounded in the clashes.
