The Emergency Medicine and Support Centre’s (EMSC) Eastern Region Branch announced yesterday the arrival of a team of visiting doctors from Italy, specializing in maxillofacial surgery and neurosurgery.
The EMSC said it will also be providing high-quality medical services to the army wounded and those injured in war.
It added that it has provided all the necessary medical equipment, shortages and supplies required for the treatment process to proceed, to ensure the provision of a safe and advanced environment for healthcare.
The Italian team will begin examinations today at Benghazi’s Dar Al-Shifa Hospital.
