Libya and Malta discuss strengthening energy cooperation and follow up on June’s MoU on electrical interconnection.
The discussions took place during a meeting last Wednesday held between Osama Al-Darrat, Advisor to the Tripoli-based Libyan Prime Minister for Electricity and Renewable Energy Affairs, and the Maltese Ambassador to Libya, Charles Saliba, and Aseel Artema, member of the Board of Directors of the Renewable Energy Authority of Libya (REAoL).
REAoL reported that during the meeting the latest developments related to cooperation in the field of renewable energies between the two countries, training of national cadres and capacity building in the field of electricity and renewable energies were also discussed.
