London, 21 May 2021:
Libya’s Air Ambulance Service reiterated that it is to continue providing its internal services to all Libyan cities.
The statement came on Wednesday after the Air Ambulance Service conducted a trip that included a delegation from the Ministry of Health to the city of Ghadames to solve the work bottlenecks at Ghadames General Hospital.
Ghadames lies 7 hours and 619 kms south west of the capital Tripoli on the Libyan-Algerian border.
The Air Ambulance Service says the provision of its nationwide services comes within the framework of supporting the work development plan to include all airports in the country and the initiative to support the government in developing medical services in all Libyan cities.
It said it hopes its maiden medical flight to the Ghadames will be an announcement that it is ready to provide service to the citizens of the city.
The Air Ambulance Service pointed out that it has already operated flights to several domestic airports and has established service offices in them so that all citizens can benefit from its services.
