Libya’s Tourism Police and Antiquities Protection Department reported yesterday that they had secured field visits for several tourist groups from Turkey, Portugal, Italy, the Czech Republic, Mexico, the United States, New Zealand, Slovenia, Canada, and the United Kingdom, as well as the Ambassador of Malta.
This came through their branches in Al-Margab, Jabal Nafusa, and Ghadames, along with offices in Nalut and Yefren.
The Tourism Police said the visits included several archaeological sites and cities, conducted in a safe and well-organized environment, reflecting a positive image of the country’s tourism potential.
