Benghazi Chamber of Commerce reported last Saturday (9 May) that it had held a meeting with a Croatian delegation to discuss avenues for economic cooperation and the reactivation of Croatian-Libyan trade relations.
The Chamber said this comes as part of its wider efforts to enhance international cooperation and expand economic partnership.
The meeting was attended by Munim Al-Sa’iti, Acting Chairman of the Board, and Ramadan Boubtana, Director of the Economic and International Relations Department.
A representative from the eastern-based Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Head of the Central Europe Section at the European Department, also participated.
The Chamber said this cooperation aims to explore potential collaboration in several sectors, most notably the oil and gas sector, with a focus on recycling projects, contributing to supporting the national economy and achieving sustainable development.
The Chamber said the meeting also addressed several economic and commercial aspects within the city of Benghazi, given its current security stability and remarkable development across various sectors.
