Benghazi’s Julyana Free Zone announced last Monday (16 February) that its Director General, Ahmed Al-Amami, received a high-level delegation from the United Kingdom on an official visit to Benghazi aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
The delegation had also held meetings with Benghazi Municipality, Benghazi Chamber of Commerce and relevant House of Representatives Committees and Members
During the visit to Julyana Free Port, the delegation was briefed on the latest developments in the Free Zone and the completed development projects, including infrastructure modernization and enhancing the port facilities.
A short documentary showcasing the Free Zone’s capabilities and the logistical services it provides to support trade and investment was also screened.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation, accompanied by the Director General of the Free Zone, toured the port to observe operations and facilities firsthand, emphasizing the importance of strengthening economic and investment cooperation between the two sides.
