Libya’s Industrial Zones Authority (IZA) reported last Wednesday (1 July) that its Chairman, Mohamed Al-Tawati, received a Turkish delegation led by Omar Çınar, a member of the Board of the Uşak Organized Industrial Zone (OSB).
The IZA said this meeting comes as part of its efforts to enhance international cooperation and attract quality investments.
The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for cooperation and investment in the industrial zones sector and leveraging Turkish expertise in the development, establishment, and management of industrial zones.
The meeting included an exchange of views on several topics of mutual interest, reflecting the IZA's commitment to expanding cooperation with international companies and attracting quality investments that contribute to the development of industrial zones, the localization of industries, job creation, and the support of economic development in Libya.
This visit comes as part of a work programme that includes a series of meetings and encounters in the coming days, within the framework of strengthening cooperation.
