Benghazi Chamber of Commerce announced today that it had received a delegation from the Commercial Department of the Spanish Embassy.
The meeting was attended by Muneem Al-Sa'iti, Acting Chairman of the Chamber, Muhanad Al-Saleheen, Director General, and Ramadan Boubtana, Director of the Economic and International Relations Department.
Benghazi Chamber said the meeting reflects its commitment to expanding its international partnerships and benefiting from successful economic experiences. It is part of a series of initiatives led by the Chamber to expand international cooperation and supporting economic development efforts and keeping pace with the aspirations of the next phase.
The meeting, the Chamber reported, addressed opportunities to leverage Spanish expertise in several economic sectors, most notably the agricultural sector, which is receiving increasing attention from the Chamber as a key pillar for supporting economic diversification and achieving sustainable development.
Chamber officials emphasised their eagerness to build genuine bridges of cooperation with the Spanish side, enabling them to benefit from the expertise of Spanish companies and their leading experiences, and opening the door to economic partnerships that serve the interests of both sides.
The Chamber reported that the meeting also included an exchange of views on several initiatives and ideas that could contribute to creating future cooperation opportunities between Libyan and Spanish economic institutions, thereby strengthening communication between the business communities of both countries.
