Libyan Knowledge Economy Forum to be held on 2 February 2026 in Tripoli

Libya's Industrial & Technology Pole is organising ‘‘The Libyan Knowledge Economy Forum’’ on 2 February 2026 in Tripoli.

Libya’s Industrial & Technology Pole (Park), with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, is organising ‘‘The Libyan Knowledge Economy Forum’’ on 2 February 2026 in Tripoli. The forum will serve as a national platform dedicated to promoting the principles of a knowledge-based and an innovation-driven economy, recognized as one of the key pillars for achieving sustainable development and advancing economic diversification in Libya.

The organisers say the forum is founded on the conviction that knowledge is the true wealth of nations, and that investing in human capital, education, technology, and scientific research is the most effective path toward building a competitive and resilient economy in an era of rapid global transformation.

Through this initiative, the organisers say, the forum seeks to bring together national and international expertise, fostering collaboration among the public sector, private enterprises, and academic institutions to establish a clear national vision for a sustainable knowledge economy that drives innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation across various sectors.

In addition, the forum aims to raise awareness of knowledge economy concepts, enhance local capacities in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, data management, and technology-driven education, and empower Libyan youth while improving institutional efficiency and competitiveness.
