LBBC and NOC announce the London ‘‘Libya Bid Round Roadshow’’ to be held on 7 April

The Libyan British Business Council (LBBC) announced today that the Libya Bid Round Roadshow in London will take place on Monday, 7 April 2025, at the Sheraton Grand Park Lane Hotel.

Organised in partnership with the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and Murzuq Oil Services Limited, this event marks the third in a global series presenting Libya’s first oil and gas exploration bid round since 2007.

Libya is offering 22 exploration areas across key onshore and offshore basins—an exceptional opportunity for international energy companies and investors to engage with one of the MENA region’s most promising hydrocarbon markets, the LBC said.

With production currently at 1.4 million barrels per day and a national goal of reaching 2 million bpd within three years, this bid round is a key step in unlocking untapped reserves and expanding Libya’s role as a vital energy supplier.

The London Roadshow will provide direct access to NOC leadership and senior Libyan officials. Attendees will gain exclusive insights into the bid process, exploration areas, and the strategic vision for Libya’s energy sector.

The LBBC invites UK and international stakeholders to be part of this landmark initiative and help shape the next chapter in Libya’s energy future.
