Minister of Housing and Construction meets Serbian delegation – seeking private and public sector partnerships

‎The Minister of Housing and Construction, Abubaker Al-Ghawi, received yesterday an official delegation from Serbia headed by the Minister of State and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Stojanovic, accompanied by the Vice-President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Daniela Stijac, and the Advisor to the Minister of State at the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Daniela Klimiti, in addition to the Ambassador of Serbia to Libya, members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and delegates at the Libyan Embassy in Serbia.‎

‎Desire to establish partnerships with public and private Libyan companies
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation, where the Serbian delegation reviewed the companies that expressed their willingness to participate in the Tripoli government’s “Return of Life” plan, expressing their desire to establish partnerships with Libyan companies in the public and private sectors.

Resume cooperation between the two countries in various fields
The Serbian Deputy Foreign Minister also affirmed his country’s readiness to support cooperation in the fields of construction and infrastructure, and to expand the horizons of partnership between the public and private sectors in both countries.‎ He also stressed that the main objective of this visit is to resume cooperation between the two countries in various fields.‎

‎For his part, the Minister of Housing and Construction stressed the importance of registering these companies and completing their procedures in accordance with Libyan laws, allowing them to return and contribute to development projects and benefit from their expertise.‎
