‘’Localisation of Healthcare’’ policy
The resumption of operations by the state sector that have long been halted is part of the Tripoli based Libyan government’s ‘‘Localisation of Healthcare’’ policy. This is an attempt to resume the local provision of healthcare by the state that have long been halted, instead of sending patients abroad at the state’s expense, or forcing Libyans to pay for the care privately.
