In cooperation with medical teams from Germany and Turkey, and under the supervision of a Libyan medical team, heart operations continued for the second day on Sunday inside the Al-Khadra Hospital in Tripoli using Tavi technology (transcatheter aortic valve implantation).
The Libyan government reported that there will be 15 operations conducted over 3 days.
Localisation of medical treatment within Tripoli
These operations come within the broader framework of the plan of the Tripoli government’s Department of Support and Development of Medical Services (DSDMS) to localise treatment within Libya.
