Tripoli, 20 July 2014:
It is not normally the case that the opening of a new petrol station hits the . . .[restrict]news. But the Libya news agency LANA has reported that residents in Sirte “celebrated” the opening on Friday of a new petrol station in the town.
The station, on a 3,500-square metre site, not only has five double fuel pumps and a capacity of 120,000 litres of petrol and 60,000 litres of diesel but also a shop, a service centre and a café.
With so many fuel stations in Tripoli not working, residents in the capital can only look on Sirte with envy. [/restrict]
