Libya’s Administrative Control Authority (ACA), the oversight agency for state-sector employees, announced on 23 December that it had suspended the head of the Libyan Asset Recovery and Management Office (LARMO).

‎The suspension came through a decision issued by ACA Chairman Abdullah Gaderboh, No. (1234) of 2024 ‘‘for reasons and requirements of the public interest’’.‎

The ACA said this comes in pursuant to the provisions of Article (31) of Law No. (20) of 2013 and its amendments and its executive regulations. ‎
