Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) yesterday praised the success achieved by the Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) in reaching production rates in the past 24 hours of 304,000 thousand barrels of crude oil per day (bpd).‎

‎It stated that this figure is the highest production rate recorded by the AGOCO ‘‘in years’’, despite the challenges faced by the oil sector and the difficult conditions that hinder the movement of production.‎

‎The NOC said this achievement also comes within the framework of the commitment to its plan to increase production rates and develop operations in the oil fields, which included the implementation of comprehensive maintenance projects for infrastructure and the introduction of modern technologies to enhance productivity in the company's fields.‎
