Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced last Tuesday (14 January) that Sirte Oil and Gas Production and Manufacturing Company has achieved an important achievement in the Al-Hatiba field by exceeding its production of 100 million cubic feet of natural gas per day.
This came after Sirte Oil had connected well S-28 to production lines, which added about 5 million cubic feet of natural gas to the daily production of the field.
The NOC said this achievement is the first of its kind in more than ten years, and this increase will contribute to meeting part of the demand for gas to operate the industrial complex and the factories of the Libyan Fertilizer Company.
