Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) reported yesterday that its subsidiary, Waha Oil Company, achieved a record production of 355,850 barrels a day of crude oil on Friday 29 November.

It said this figure had not been recorded by the company since 2010.

It will be recalled that the NOC had also reported yesterday that total Libyan oil and gas production had reached a new milestone.
