The Department of Support and Development of Medical Services (DSDMS) reported Monday that there will be international participation from at least 10 countries at its First International Conference on Gynaecological Laparoscopic Surgery in Libya. These include participants from the UK, Germany and France.
The event will take place from 9 to 10 September at the Libyan Iron and Steel Company’s (LISCO) training hall in Misrata.
The conference will also include many scientific lectures on gynaecological laparoscopic surgeries. On the sidelines of the conference and on a practical level, doctors will perform several operations in several Libyan cities.
The event and the surgeries are part of the Tripoli government’s localisation of healthcare policy.
