Tripoli, 19 September 2015:
Brega Marketing in Tobruk is insisting there will be no shortages of fuel and gas . . .[restrict]over the eid Al-Adha holiday.
Brega’s Tobruk director Eid Khairallah Haduth has said that the company is working flat out to ensure that deliveries of petrol, diesel and cooking gas will be made throughout the east in time for the holiday. He said the distribution included the towns of Awjila, Jalu, Jakharra and Jaghbub.
He explained that a product tanker had recently made a delivery at Brega port and this had helped ease shortages in Ajdabiya.
An official in Tobruk said however that there were currently difficulties taking fuel and gas supplies into Derna, but he did not explain what these were. [/restrict]
