Exams at Omar Mukhtar University’s Guba branch have been postponed due to the security situation.
The . . .[restrict]Dean of the Faculty of Education, the University’s branch in Guba, announced a decision to postpone examinations this week after a suicide bombing killed one and injured seven in the town. There have also been a number of attacks on the Lamluda checkpoint that lies just 10 kilometres outside of the town.
Exams that were to be held on 20 May will be held instead on 31 May. Likewise, exams scheduled for 21 May have been rescheduled for 2 June.
Guba lies 28 kilometres east of Labrak airport. Omar Mukhtar University’s main campus is in Beida, but the school has branches in Guba, Derna and Tobruk. [/restrict]
