Tripoli, 23 July 2014:
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has denied rumours that it had instructed Libya to rid Tripoli International . . .[restrict]Airport of armed groups and that it would not allow international flights in and out of the country until it did.
A spokesperson for IATA told the Libya Herald that the association had not issued any statement on Libya. He said exactly the same rumour, equally unfounded, had circulated a year ago. [/restrict]
