Libya's Customs Authority reported on 9 June that Officers of the Zuwara Anti-Smuggling and Narcotics Division at Ras Ajdir Border Crossing successfully intercepted a vehicle arriving from Tunisia carrying foreign currency concealed within sophisticated hidden compartments.
The seizure resulted in the discovery of:

- EUR 234,620
The Customs Authority said the operation highlights the vigilance and professionalism of Customs officers in protecting the country's economic security and combating smuggling activities.
