Training courses on Microsoft Office Pack were launched in Tripoli yesterday as part of the “Raqameyon” programme funded by the French government and implemented Expertise France in cooperation with the General Information Authority,

Expertise France report that the training aims to empower public and private sector employees and create job opportunities by spreading digital skills and supporting the development of programmes to develop local digital capabilities throughout Libya.

The training used local trainers who had participated in an intensive -Train the Trainers course- with seven other trainers from Tripoli, Benghazi, Misrata, and Sabha.

This week, a group of employees nominated by the Ministry of Higher Education is receiving the training, preceded by a group from the Real Estate Registration Service, followed by the Ministry of Civil Service.

The project aims to train more than 2,000 employees from different sectors on mastering digital office skills and developing their digital capabilities, focusing on women and youth.
