The Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) reported yesterday that its Chairman, Mustafa Al-Dinalli, held a virtual meeting with representatives of BP from his Benghazi office.
The company said the meeting comes as part of its ongoing efforts to develop production operations and strengthen international partnerships.
The meeting addressed ways to enhance technical and technological cooperation between the two parties. Strategic plans adopted by AGOCO to increase production rates and develop the infrastructure of its fields were reviewed.
Discussions also focused on exchanging expertise in modern drilling technologies and reservoir management, ensuring the sustainability of operations and increasing operational efficiency.
During the meeting, the AGOCO Chairman emphasized that his company is moving forward with the implementation of ambitious projects aimed at maximizing national resources. He also highlighted the importance of partnerships with major international companies like BP to introduce the latest technological solutions to the oil and gas sector.
This meeting comes as part of a series of intensive moves led by the company’s management committee to ensure the achievement of planned production targets for 2026, and to support the stability of the national energy sector.
