‘‘U.S. experts’’ visit Sirte’s single pivot agricultural irrigation circles – 87 irrigation circles will be restarted in 2025

The National Development Agency (NDA) reported last Thursday (12 February) that it had signed a partnership agreement on the same day in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with Signify Philips.

A leader in lighting and lighting technology, including international brand Philips, Signify Philips reports it had sales of EUR 5.8 billion in 2025, approximately 27,000 employees and a presence in over 70 countries.

The NDA said this agreement comes as part of its efforts to strengthen international cooperation and support sustainable development projects in Libya.

The agreement was signed by the Director General of the NDA, Mahmoud Al-Farjani, and by As Tempelman, CEO of Signify.
