Khoms port announced yesterday that a giant Liebherr vertical gantry crane LHM 554, with a lifting capacity of 155 tons, arrived at its port.
The port said this comes as part of the Libyan Ports Company's efforts to modernize the machinery, equipment, and operational requirements of its ports, in accordance with a comprehensive development plan that includes all equipment and machinery used in operations,
Khoms Port said this crane will join the existing fleet of vertical gantry cranes operating at the port.
