Benghazi Chamber of Commerce participates in virtual meeting with coordinators of EU Blue Economy Initiative

Benghazi Chamber of Commerce reported yesterday that it participated in a virtual meeting with coordinators of the EU Blue Economy Initiative. Representatives from related Libyan private sector companies also attended.

The virtual meeting addressed ways to develop regional partnerships in the fields of marine and sustainable environmental economics. It also discussed opportunities for cooperation between Libya and EU countries in aquaculture, maritime transport, and blue energy projects, aiming to leverage marine resources as a key driver of sustainable economic growth.

The Chamber said the participation is part of its efforts to strengthen its presence in international initiatives and expand cooperation with regional partners to support sustainable development in the coastal and maritime region.
